Personal Saint

Again, and again
you return bringing along the same exacerbation
hei, Zacchaeus
what do ya want from us?
we have our payment demanded

grow'st grow'st grow'st grow'st
the wound grow'st we have no tourniquet
the more u abuse the stronger we get
it's not bone and blood we could forget
now it's the eclipse we must rise!

release my hatred out of me
I want to show you what it means
release my hatred out of me
we are saint there is no salvation

Prose : Execution

"Bribery among Gods? I refused to meddle in this but they have trodden my toes. I wonder if you are one of them." While glaring at Gabriel, Stren approached him with his sword drawn out from his back, quickening his pace and dashing towards Gabriel. "Execution!" Stren hollered.

"No, I don't want to cross sword..." Before Gabriel could end his words, the edge of the sword had reached closely before his very naked eyes. Within a fraction of second, he managed to deflect the blow with his gauntlets. The clanging pierced through the atmosphere and the recoil sent him falling on the ground. Yanking himself up instantaneously, he cast a defiant glare at Stren. Drawing his obsidian sword deftly, Gabriel parried for the next attack. For each parry, the ground shook and there would be growing cracks on the ground. Dark clouds surged through the sky and thunderstorm stroke as though it was tearing the sky apart.

As their strength were equal, none of them faltered. Stren slapped his palm at Gabriel's torso and released a wave of crimson blaze. The flame, however, only managed to scorch his skin a little with fading sizzling sound. He grinned. "How about this?" Red lights focused in Gabriel's eyes and burst into destructive beams, striking directly at Stren. He rolled to the side at once in an attempt to dodge the beam and raised his sword to block the other one. The reflected beam stroke at the pillar and crushed it into rubble. The moment Stren recovered himself, Gabriel was nowhere to be found on the ground. In the mid-air, he was ready to plunge his sword downward with as much force as he could gather. Knowing it was going to be a calamity, Stren prepared himself for another evasion as it was by no mean trying for another counter attack. "FUTILE!" Gabriel roared and stroke the ground with lightning speed. The explosion devastated the whole battleground and threw the debris into the air...

"This is the power of a God, Stren, you were walking into your own grave." Gabriel stood triumphantly on the apex of a big rock. The previous scratches on his torso recovered fully and his body was shining brilliantly. As he turned back and was about to leave, suddenly, amid the rubble, Stren staggered out and he was still alive. Dumbfounded, Gabriel's eyes buldged as he saw energy gathering in Stren and aura encasing his body like a protective shell.

Stren's movement was as quick as a teleport and he took less than a second to approach Gabriel. Unable to see his movement, Gabriel was stroke down by Stren's bare fist and fell on the ground. Before he could react to the situation, a storm by Stren crashed his ribs and he was spitting out blood. Stren tossed him into the air and gave him a hard bash squarely on his face when he fell down. The fatal strike crashed his skull and he sprawled on the ground, lying motionlessly for a jiffy. The moment Gabriel regained his conscious, Stren was standing in front of him with his sword, in a stance preparing to decapitate his head.

Gabriel wanted to fight back but only to realize that his strength and energy were ebbing away due to the previous blow on his skull. Gabriel was helpless, indeed. As Stren swung his sword, Gabriel gathered his last strength to quickly grab the blade to defend against the attack. His skin sizzled and was slowly melting away. "It drains energy when contacts directly with skin! This sword is crafted to destroy heavenly beings!" Stren raised his sword and gave another swing, chopping off Gabriel's arm brutally. He groaned in agony. Stren grabbed his neck with one hand and lifted his body away from ground. As Gabriel was begging for compassion, Stren swung his sword again and lopped his head off without mercy. Blood spurted out from the cut region and Stren threw Gabriel's corpse to one side. Realizing the battle had ended, Stren sighed. He turned back and ascended the stair to Zeus's throne, resuming his execution mission...

*The scenes from either video games or manga give me such an inspiration that I feel like writing a fantasy fighting prose. The fight is actually short but I try to visualize every action, making it quite a long one. I hope you will like the name "Gabriel". Ha!
